Diese neue Sportart ist der absolute Wahnsinn
Der Münchner Olympiapark platzte beim ersten Stopp der Red Bull Crashed Ice Weltmeisterschaft 2010 aus allen Nähten. 64 Cracks aus 20 Nationen stürzten sich in einen 386 Meter langen und mit Sprüngen, Wellen und Schikanen gespickten Eis-Parcours. Martin Niefnecker aus Garmisch-Partenkirchen rangelte sich in voller Eishockeyausrüstung sensationell zum Sieg. 50.000 Fans strömten bei Temperaturen weit unter dem Gefrierpunkt an das Renngelände, unter ihnen auch Fußball-Nationalspieler Mario Gomez: „Diese neue Sportart ist der absolute Wahnsinn.“ Titelbild Andreas Schaad »
