Das Boot von Ericsson 3 ist nicht bereit

KEIN WIND IN QINGDAO! Rennen werden auf Montag verschoben. +++NEUE BILDER

Wird Ericsson 3 aussetzen bekäme es nur zwei Punkte - macht es mit vier. Es scheint aber so, dass für die Instandstellung des Bootes mehr Zeit benötigt wird als man annahm. Das Rennen wird auf der letztjährigen Olympiastrecke ausgetragen.+++++++++++++++++++++NEWS¨! Die Rennen müssen erneut verschoben werden. Kein Wind in Qingdao. Wird morgen wieder kein Wind sein, so werden sie auf Dienstag verschoben. Können die Hafen-Rennen auch am Dienstag nicht stattfinden, so werden sie annuliert.

VOLVO OCEAN RACE 2009, 6.2.09 (mk) Das Rennen ist auch ein willkommener Test, dass alles richtig repariert und montiert wurde. Bald wird ja die Fünfte und längste Etappe nach Rio in Angriff genommen. Das Wichtigste bei solchen Rennen ist immer der Start. Dies sagt Skipper Ian Walker von Green Dragon.

After consulting with the International Jury: due to injuries to a crew member Telefónica Blue will substitute Pepe Ribes with Javier de la Plaza for tomorrow's in-port race.

Rick Tomlinson/Volvo Ocean Race Green Dragon, skippered by Ian Walker (GBR) finishes 4th on leg 4 of the Volvo Ocean Race in Qingdao, China. The Chinese/Irish boat crossed the finish line at 12:41:00 GMT. Onboard, capturing all the action, was Chinese media crew member Guo Chuan who was given a hero's welcome as the crew pulled alongside the dock.
