Artemis Racing shuts the door on Aleph's Fairytale run at the America’s Cup World Series Match Racing Championship.
Artemis Racing has advanced into the Semi Final of the AC World Series Match Racing Championship in San Diego, beating a red-hot Aleph team to join the final four. Am ACWS Plymouth Super Sunday Finale belegten die Oracle Boote die Plätze 1 und 3. "Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit unserer Leistung, sagt Skipper Jimmy Spitthill, der Teamkollege von Russell Coutts zum Abschneiden an den ACWS Plymouth Fleet Racing Weltmeisterschaften. Vor der grossen Show
Genau in 6 Tagen, am 10.September, startet in Plymouth England, der ACWS Cup mit dem zweiten Lauf. Nach dem Debut im portugisischen Cascais erwartet nun Plymouth ein super Highlight. Die Turbo-Boote werden mit 45 kph/27 Meilen pro Stunde nahe an der Küste an den vielen tausend Zuschauern vorbeisegeln. Die Strecke in Plymouth ist deshalb atemberaubend, weil die Rennstrecke an der Plymouth Hoe enorm grossen Wellenschlag aufweist und komplette Stadionstimmung aufkommen lässt. »

Mehr Muskelkraft für die neuen Boote
Der America's Cup kommt nach Europa und mit ihm die allerbesten Boote, die aber auch körperlich sehr anstrengend sind. Vom 10.-18. September werden sie in Plymouth um die Wette segeln. Der America's Cup und seine Worldcup Serie's werden entlang des weltberühmten Plymouth Hoe stattfinden, erwartet werden hundertausende von Zuschauern. Zudem wird das Ganze live, auf über 100 Fernsehstationen weltweit übertragen. Der AC72 ist das Ziel!
Wir segeln im Moment mit dem Prototyp dem AC42, er soll zur Weiterentwicklung für den AC72 dienen, der 2013 von allen Teams im Rennen eingesetzt werden kann.
